A lifelong outdoorsman, Ross was raised adventuring all over the West. He spent winters in the Wasatch, Sierra Nevada, and Rocky Mountains and summers in the Sierra Foothills, and Southern Utah.
Ross apprenticed under Marcus Mattila of the Marcus Ashley Art Gallery in South Lake Tahoe, California where he framed originals created by greats such as Mackenzie Thorpe and Alexander Volkov along with limited prints released by Dr. Seuss.
The juxtaposition of 11,000 foot peaks, green valleys, and vast redrock canyons offered by Torrey, Utah have proven to be the perfect surroundings to draw creative inspiration and finally call somewhere home.
